Jim’s Trailer Sales Inc. (JTS) is a family-owned RV dealership based in Northeastern Ohio. JTS is known for being the oldest family-owned dealership in the area that carries the full line of Jayco products. JTS customers tend to be loyal fans and pass the camping tradition down from generation to generation.
JTS reached out to us and explained they had success retaining customers but wanted a social media strategy that would help them to reach new audiences. OneHum worked previously with JTS on their website and from this experience, we knew JTS’s unique selling point was their fun, quirky brand message coupled with their RV industry expertise. We wanted to take JTS’s strong branding and present it on Facebook to connect with existing fans and captivate new ones.
OneHum wanted to cultivate a presence on Facebook that would attract members of the camping community and we began by working closely with the client to develop personal content that would resonate with JTS’s audience. With guidance from us, JTS was able to provide photos that performed well in Facebook’s algorithm and engaged the page’s followers. We also made suggestions for a boosting strategy that helped get JTS’s content seen. Once the content was in front of existing and new fans, they responded positively and wanted to see more.
After partnering with us, JTS saw a substantial increase in reach and engagement in a one-year timeframe. From June 2017 to June 201, JTS experienced a significant increase in overall following. Overall engagement increased with a noticeable difference in likes, reactions, comments, and shares on posts.
